This past Monday, while working at the office , I heard the tell-tale scream of ambulances and fire trucks as they sped by. This is fairly common, but this time the noise remained constant instead of receding into the distance. I found out a short while later that a serious auto accident had occurred less than a quarter mile from our office, on US-127 .

Early yesterday morning, a rollover crash on I-96 near Brighton claimed one life and hospitalized two other victims. According to reports, a 19-year-old Detroit woman was killed when the 1995 Toyota 4-Runner in which she was traveling rolled on the exit ramp. Three of the four occupants of the vehicle were ejected.

The peace and quiet of an early Spring morning was shattered last Sunday as two young people lost their lives in a tragic car crash on M-21 in Lowell , Michigan. The accident occurred near the intersection of East Fulton (also known as M-21) and Settlewood Drive at about 7:40 in the morning on May 23. According to reports , the 28-year-old male driver lost control of the small pickup truck and smashed into a tree, and was instantly killed along with his 19-year-old female passenger.
